Squadron Leader Jim Rankin
Jim is currently an instructor on the Beechcraft King Air of 42 Squadron based at RNZAF Ohakea. Jim has had a long and varied career in the RNZAF and has flown many aircraft types including the C130 Hercules, CT4 Airtrainer, Aermacchi, Harvard and Iroquois helicopter. He has also been very active in the civil air scene piloting everything from balloons and gliders to gyrocopters as well as being a regular presenter of CAA Safety seminars.
