Public visits to Biggin Hill at Ohakea are suspended while we await new policy and procedures from the RNZAF on Visitor security and safety
The Biggin Hill Historic Aircraft Centre is located within RNZAF Base Ohakea and there is no casual public access. Visits have to be arranged in advance and are subject to availability of staff and other factors. IMPORTANT for Foreign Nationals (i.e. ALL visitors who are not New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents with NZ issued Photo ID) – refer to special notes in the Conditions page here

Visits are subject to COVID19 Level restrictions in force at the time
Important: Note that we can process requests to visit the Biggin Hill hangar ONLY and this does not include access to other areas, aircraft or units on Base Ohakea. If you wish to organise a visit to other areas of Ohakea whether including a visit to Biggin Hill or not, then your request should be directed to:

Please note that although on-line mapping programs and some GPS units still show the Ohakea Branch of the Air Force Museum being located on Base (with public access/cafe etc), this facility closed some years ago.
