Squadron Leader Stuart Anderson joined the RNZAF in 2005 and currently flies the Beechcraft T-6C Texan II as a flying instructor for the RNZAF Central Flying School, Ohakea. His RNZAF service has seen him qualified to fly the Sioux, Iroquois and A109 helicopters; in addition to the Airtrainer, Kingair, Texan II, Harvard and Tiger Moth. As a former RNZAF Historic Flight Commander (predecessor of the Air Force Heritage Flight of New Zealand), Stuart displayed RNZAF Harvard 1015 and he has displayed with both the RNZAF Red Checkers and Black Falcons display teams, including two seasons as Black Falcons lead. He holds civil licences and instructor ratings for fixed and rotary-wing powered aircraft as well as gliders. Stuart currently displays our Supermarine Spitfire MkIXc.
